The Grundfos Pump Genie is an interconnect devise that allows you to cut down on the usage of mains water by using harvested rainwater for your toilet, laundry and garden applications.
The Grundfos Pump Genie always prioritises the use of rainwater, and will automatically switch over to mains water when your rainwater tank is running low or during electrical failure.
The pump its self is only active when rainwater is being drawn from the tank. The pump does not operate when the Pump Genie has switched automatically to mains water. The Pump Genie acts as a controller and will sense when the change from rainwater to mains water is necessary, for example when flushing a toilet or filling the washing machine.
The Pump Genie is easy to install and does not require any regular maintenance. There is a dual check valve for backflow prevention and is suitable for both above or below ground rainwater tanks.
